Bishop of Jerusalem Visits Ardess

Ardess Parish was delighted to welcome The Right Reverend Suheil Dawani to address the Confirmation candidates on Whitsunday, 11th May 2008. The Rite of Confirmation was conducted by The Right Reverend Dr Michael Jackson, Bishop of Clogher. During the service the Bishop of Jerusalem presented each of the candidates with a small olivewood cross brought from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Both bishops and the capacity congregation were invited to Ardess Parish Centre for a buffet lunch following the service.

3 September 2007On Sunday 2nd September Bishop Michael Jackson officiated at a special service for the dedication of memorial gifts and the consecration of Ardess graveyard extension.
