Bishop of Jerusalem Visits Ardess

Ardess Parish was delighted to welcome The Right Reverend Suheil Dawani to address the Confirmation candidates on Whitsunday, 11th May 2008. The Rite of Confirmation was conducted by The Right Reverend Dr Michael Jackson, Bishop of Clogher. During the service the Bishop of Jerusalem presented each of the candidates with a small olivewood cross brought from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Both bishops and the capacity congregation were invited to Ardess Parish Centre for a buffet lunch following the service.

Reverend Niall & Gerry Griffin
23 June 2007Two evenings of teaching were held in Ardess Parish Hall on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th June, with the themes of ‘Hearing God’ and ‘Training for prayer ministry’. The speakers were Reverend Niall Griffin and his wife Gerry and also Bernie O’Rourke.
